EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP
Robert D. Kelly, Principal
Mr. Kelly has over 30 years of experience in construction contract issues, job cost accounting and job cost analysis, construction management practices, conceptual estimating, project estimating, and CPM scheduling and analysis. Mr. Kelly has held management and executive positions with a variety of construction and development firms. He has performed claim preparation and claim analysis on scheduling claims for delays, disruption and acceleration for site development projects, power projects, commercial buildings, manufacturing facilities and governmental facilities. He has analyzed labor productivity and equipment utilization. He has testified as an expert on time impacts to scheduling, construction costs and damages at the federal and state level. He also has considerable experience in case document management and electronic documents and has utilized electronic document management in deposition and trial testimony exhibits. He has participated in dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration and litigation resulting from construction contract disputes. He has also served, as a litigation consultant to a state attorney general's office.
Mr. Kelly has been certified a Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering. He is also a Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) as recognized by the American Society of Professional Estimators. Mr. Kelly is a member of the Project Management Institute’s College of Scheduling.
Robert D. Kelly, Jr., PMP, Senior Associate
Mr. Kelly has over 15 years of experience in the construction project management industry, having served as PM or APM on commercial building construction, heavy highway/civil construction and occupied facility corrective construction projects. Responsibilities have included takeoff/estimating, project scheduling, resource allocation, subcontractor/utility/tenant coordination, change order and claim preparation, and project closeout responsibilities. As a professional consultant, Mr. Kelly has served as both contractor's and owner's representative, having performed project management duties and claim/litigation support services such as as-planned/as-built comparisons, issue development, delay/disruption analyses and allocation of damages amongst responsible parties.
Mr. Kelly has been certified a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute, and is a member of PMI’s College of Scheduling and Troubled Projects special interest groups.
